Designed for real-life checklists

Road trips, moves, tournaments, launches, recurring chores — anything that usually ends up in scattered notes.

  • Describe what you’re planning in one sentence.
  • Generate a structured checklist in seconds.
  • Edit and reorder items. On paid plans, save and reuse your favorites.
  • Reuse the same checklist every time that scenario comes up.

Using ThatChecklist

Start simple: describe what you’re doing and let ThatChecklist give you a starting point.

ThatChecklist is a checklist generator that helps you turn messy plans into structured lists. You can start from templates on any plan, save and reuse checklists on Pro, and on Pro+ AI you can use AI suggestions to generate and refine checklists even faster.

No. You can generate a checklist from templates without logging in. Creating a free account lets you keep track of what you’ve generated and start saving checklists as you upgrade. Pro lets you save, share, and export. Pro+ AI adds AI-powered generation and refinement.

Anything that has moving pieces: travel, sports seasons, classroom prep, moving, packing, launches, events, recurring chores, onboarding tasks, and more. If it needs a checklist, ThatChecklist can help you start one — and on Pro+ AI, you can let AI suggest the starting list for you.

Yes. On all plans you can tweak the generated list. On Pro and Pro+ AI you can save those edited versions, turn them into templates, and reuse them whenever you want. Pro+ AI also lets you ask AI to expand or simplify checklist sections before you save.

Plans, Pro, Pro+ AI & billing

Start free. Upgrade only if the Pro or Pro+ AI features actually save you time.

Free lets you try the generator and see how checklists feel for your real-life plans.

Pro (currently $7.99/month) adds:
  • Saving unlimited checklists
  • Creating and reusing templates
  • Exporting to PDF
  • Organizing lists over time
Pro+ AI (currently $9.99/month) includes everything in Pro plus:
  • AI-powered checklist generation from your own descriptions
  • AI refinement to expand, regroup, or simplify tasks
  • Higher usage limits for AI-based generation
AI features are only available on the Pro+ AI plan.

Payments are handled securely by Stripe. You can choose a monthly Pro or Pro+ AI plan. If you cancel, you keep access to your paid features until the end of the current billing period, and then your account moves back to the Free plan.

Yes. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. There are no long-term contracts, and you won’t be billed again unless you reactivate a paid plan (Pro or Pro+ AI).

For most monthly plans, we don’t typically offer refunds once a billing period has started, but if something went wrong with billing or the product, you can always contact support and we’ll review it with you.

Data, privacy, & accounts

Your checklists are yours. Our job is to keep them available and secure.

Your account and checklist data are stored in a secure database. Only the app and support tools (for troubleshooting) interact with that data. We don’t sell, rent, or share your checklists with third parties.

By default, only you (when signed in) can see your saved checklists. If you turn on sharing for a checklist on a paid plan, anyone with the link you share will be able to view that specific checklist.

If you downgrade from Pro or Pro+ AI, you keep access to your account and existing checklists, but new Pro features (like fresh exports, new templates, or new saved lists) and all Pro+ AI features (AI generation and refinement) may be limited or disabled going forward.

You can reach out through the contact form on the site or the support link in your account area. Include the email address tied to your ThatChecklist account, and a brief description of the issue, and we’ll take a look.
